Happy Halloween from our sweet Rudy, ahem, Finnegan! For Finn's first Halloween I thought about what he should dress up as, and I just knew that if he were able to pick out a costume he'd want to dress up as his best friend and hero, Rudy! Rudy is our 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog and the bond between these two is just adorable. So I hit the sewing machine and got to work on creating my favourite costume of all time.
Halloween season is upon us! Halloween has always been a favourite of mine, dressing up, spooky decorations, haunted houses, free candy (if I'm being honest that was a big part of the appeal as a kid). While I've given up on the mini chocolate bars, I love to do some halloween baking with upgraded ingredients. These coconut skull gummies are such a fun treat for the season. Thanksgiving is almost here and no holiday is complete without this stuffing that has been in my family for generations. My more cherished memories of the holidays are helping my mom in the kitchen while we chat, giggle (usually a result of being overtired due to getting ready for the holiday), and sneak forkfuls of this stuffing before dinner. This recipe has been passed down from my great great grandmother, and I like to imagine each generation of mothers and daughters having that same special time.

I've given into the fact that I am that basic girl that needs everything in her life to be pumpkin spice as soon as September 1st hit. I won't deny deny it, I won't apologize for it. Plus, can it get better than pumpkin spice POP TARTS! I mean common! With Thanksgiving coming up next weekend these would be a fun spin on classic pumpkin pie too.
It doesn't get any easier than a sheet pan dinner! This makes a perfect weeknight dinner because it's quick and easy but best of all there is only one dish to wash! I especially love a sheet pan dinner with salmon because it cooks up so quickly.
If this isn't drool worthy, I don't know what is. I'm kicking off pumpkin spice season with these paleo pumpkin spice waffles and they are a definite winner! The perfect combination of crunchy and soft, spicy and sweet. They may just become a Sunday brunch regular!

Peach season is coming to an end and I couldn't let it go by without creating a little something for you guys. I must say that these popsicles are definitely peachy keen! I can never resist a god pun. These popsicles are so creamy and so easy to make! Think of a orange creamsicle but with peaches (way better in my opinion), and with MUCH cleaner ingredients.
If you're looking for a new spin on the plain ol' potato this is the recipe for you! I love hasselback potatoes because it's like the love child of a baked potato and chips. Amazing, right? Combine that with a savoury garlic and herb butter and now we've really got a winner.
