The holidays are officially over and I have to admit that it's nice to get back into the swing of things. After many servings of turkey dinner over Chirstmas, I was somehow still not yet sick of it and decided to make a turkey dinner on New Years Eve for the hubs and I. Great idea and it was delicious but a whole turkey between two people is A LOT of turkey. We did the usual leftovers the next day (even better than the real deal in my opinion), and then I got straight to boiling the bones for broth. You can find my bone broth recipe here. With a large turkey I was able to make 3 batches of broth! Talk about cost effective.
