Just in time for Valentine's Day, these little drops of heaven make a delicious treat for your sweetheart. Better yet, they have just 4 ingredients and are paleo, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and everything but flavour-free! These are hands down my favourite treat. Nothing beats dark chocolate and sea salt. except for when you surround that chocolate around a homemade caramel.... I'll pause while you drool. Ok, now that that's out of the way, let's whip these bad boys up! Ingredients
After pitting the dates, add to a food processor with almond butter and pulse until well combined and a smooth, yet sticky mixture forms. You may need to add small amounts of water to assist with the blending. Once fully combined, use a teaspoon or cookie scoop to roll 1/2 inch balls. Place the balls in the freezer while you prep the chocolate. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate. Once fully melted dip each caramel into the chocolate to fully coat it. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and top with sea salt while the chocolate is still wet. Once all the caramels are complete place back into the fridge or freezer to set. Wait about 20 minutes... if you can, and then enjoy! Oh, and try to save some for your Valentine.

Sarah, these were incredible! I tried one at BIB and loved it. Definitely adding to my sweets list.
