Tis the season for holiday drinks. Most people's alcohol consumption goes up this time of year with all the holiday parties and extra stress. So how do we reduce our alcohol consumption without feeling deprived of the fancy, fun drinks? Enter the Kombucha Mocktail.
This drink is fizzy, fruity and completely adaptable to suit your taste buds.
What is Kombucha? Kombucha (Com-boo-cha) is a fermented tea and that is loaded with probiotics. It's has a nice fizz to is which make it a great substitute for soda.
Most cocktails are loaded with sugar, syrups, alcohol, all the stuff that takes away from our health. Kombucha does just the opposite. It actually adds to our health making us better, stronger, more balanced versions of ourselves.
You can modify this recipe in any way you like, the possibilities are endless!
I made these festive drinks for my Healthy Holiday Nutrition workshop so I definitely wanted to put a holiday spin on them.
Here's what you need:
Simply add all your ingredients together and stir. Pour into individual glasses and enjoy! Serve chilled.
